A week ago from Wednesday, I turned 18 years old... I am so happy to be eighteen and I am so thankful for every opportunity I've experienced in those years. I've made mistakes and I have learned from my mistakes. I've learned to love life and enjoy every day. I am blessed to have such an amazing family, boyfriend, and group of friends... This year I've been able to travel across the country with my dad, visit my family in Montana, go to the beach for a weekend with my best friend as my senior trip, go to the beach for vacation for a week, and I also traveled to the Bahamas on a cruise with my best friends. These trips were amazing and I am so thankful I got to experience each one.
My friends are so amazing and I know I will always be thankful for having them by my side. They have been here for me through every phase of awkward in elementary, middle AND high school! Whoever sticks around that long is definitely someone to have as a lifelong friend ;) I am so thankful that I was able to grow up with such a great friend group. I love them so much and I will always cherish the memories we share. I'm also thankful for my family. Despite my sass, outburst of random songs, and complete randomness, they have managed to put up with me! And God bless them for that. Haha. My family is so kind and outgoing. They love a good laugh and they love to binge watch movies and have family game night. We have fun traditions that I'll remember for the rest of my life and I couldn't be any more thankful to have my family here with me. Another person I am thankful for is my boyfriend. He is so sweet, kind, and sincere. As well as honest, loyal, respectful, and responsible. We get along so well and share so many interests. From walks in the park, to playing video games, binge watching Netflix movies, and playing board games, I have enjoyed every moment we are together. I love him and I am so lucky that I have such a wonderful guy as my boyfriend. This past year has been very eventful and I am so excited to see what this year has in store for me. I have decided that I will start my New Year's resolution now, because why put it off? I will be journaling about my year as being 18, reading the bible more often and taking a moment each day to be thankful for my life... What are you thankful for? - Bethany
