I am pretty sure that Autumn is my favorite season of all. The crisp cool air, the crunch of the fall leaves, the sweet aroma of hot apple cider... ahhh. This season is filled with fashionable outfits and of course other beauty statements like the popular "red berry lips". Earlier this week, my younger sister, Jenny, graciously allowed me to do her makeup! For this particular look we focused on a warm, autumnal face and included the red berry lips! To start out this look I used the e.l.f. Aqua Primer Mist. I used two sprays about a foot away (it has a pretty powerful spray). This is just different form of primer so feel free to use your favorite! Next I applied concealer under her eyes and on any red spots. I blended the concealer out and moved on to bronzer. I received the MODEL co bronzer from an Ipsy bag, and I love it. It is the perfect shimmering bronzer. I used the Rose Bliss bronzer brush from the brand Cala to apply it. The long handle to the brush is amazing for applying your own bronzer and someone else's! I lightly swept the bronzer across Jenny's forehead and temples, followed down to her jaw line, and lastly, applied it to her cheeks. I followed up with a quick sweep of M.A.C.'s blush in "Springsheen" to present a natural blush. We decided in the beginning that for this look a heavy liquid foundation may be overbearing for her, so I lightly brushed her face with Covergirl's Professional Loose Powder. Although it is a powder, it does provide great coverage. For the eyes, I applied several shadows from my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and my M.A.C. custom quad. Most shadows I used were from the Naked 3 palette. I first used the shadow "Limit" as the base shadow. I then used a blend of "Buzz" and "Trick" across her lid. From my M.A.C. custom quad, I used the shadow "Plum Dressing" for the inner part of her crease. I used the shade "Factory" on her outer crease and then blended the eyeshadows together! For eyeliner, I brought out the bright hues in the shadow "Plum Dressing" with a Navy Blue eyeliner from Almay. To lengthen and volumize her lashes, I used one of my favorite mascaras ever! Drew Barrymore's brand Flower has a great Zoom In 3-in-1 mascara. It is SO good. I used the first setting and the third on Jenny's lashes to make them a bit more dramatic.
Lastly, I used a lip liner followed by a Maybelline lipstick!
