I've been so into stationery recently that I decided to expand my collection! I visited Target today and of course had to browse the dollar section (my favorite part of the store!). There were so many pens, post-it notes, flags, ribbons, washi tapes, and even more to choose from! Like stationery heaven. The prices in the dollar section range from $1 to $5, so everything is fairly inexpensive. I bought quite a few items and I am so excited to share them with you! Target sells matching sets of stationery. This is very convenient since the note pads and calendar pages I purchased are now stored in a matching binder from the dollar section. It all looks so cute! I love the cute mini floral binder and the fact that the stationery matches! The top right stationery pack has 4 packs of flag notes, 2 sticky note pads, a note pad and a sticker sheet with "email, pay, call, shop, apt, lunch time, work out, coffee break, and pay day" stickers. They are so cute and colorful. The sticker sheet also includes colorful reinforcement labels. The two note packs I bought are amazing. The first pack on the left includes 1 set of mini planner calendar pages & dividers. The mint pages with white polka dots are complimented by white and gold page dividers! The coral pack includes 1 set of mini planner note pages, time sheets, & page dividers with pockets! Both packs fit perfectly in the mini floral binder. I love the binder set and I am looking forward to using it! While out at Target I also purchased a few more stationery items. In the dollar section I found a pack of 3 gel pens ($1) which I will use in my planner and college notes. The colors are bright and cute. I also bought Sharpie limited edition markers ($4), and I love them! Decorating with cute pens and markers always motivates me to do more and get more done. I purchased an additional set of flag post its ($1), and a mini stapler ($3) for my backpack for college instead of lugging a regular stapler around. The washi tape ($1 each, Expressions tape $3) I purchased is perfect for decorating my planner and adding a bit of personal flair! These were the last of the products I bought in my haul. I had so much fun shopping for my stationery collection. I can't wait to dig into these products and create my very own planner! I hope you all enjoyed this post and try and go check the dollar section out! :) Until next time, ~Bethany~

In my last blog post, I mentioned how much I LOVE to watch stationery hauls and videos on YouTube! I thought it would be neat for you all to check out some of my favorite channels and see what you think. So here is a list of my favorite channels, especially for video binge watching ;) Nikki from ThisRobinsNest: She has great hauls and finds great crafting and stationery deals! Her favorite place (and mine!) is the Target Dollar Spot. Love watching her videos for inexpensive inspiration and ideas! :) : https://www.youtube.com/user/ThisRobinsNest Elle Fowler from Glam Planner: Elle has really great planner decorating videos. She also has her own Etsy sites where she sells themed stickers, washi tape, and pages for making your own planner! I love her "Plan with Me" videos. : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcHJu7oxeMYVd-W9LCsuOKg Alejandra from Home Organizing by Alejandra.tv: Alejandra is an expert in organization. There are 2 or 3 videos on her channel that I always revisit. Although she doesn't have hauls or "Plan with Me"'s, she has great organization videos that show off items in her collection. I always feel like shopping and reorganizing and decluttering after watching her videos! : https://www.youtube.com/user/HomeOrganizing CheapCraftyGirl: I love watching her hauls and how the items are so inexpensive and fit right in my budget range! : https://www.youtube.com/user/CheapCraftyGirl/featured Last Christmas my mother gave me a beautiful Lily Pulitzer Agenda book. The agenda book makes for a great planner and has a nice layout. The agenda book has the usual calendar dates, plus it includes room to write plans for the day, themed stickers for decorating, sections for writing notes, names and addresses, contact information, and traveling plans. These sections are super useful since I'm always forgetting things and I am always jotting down random notes. Unfortunately, I never update the calendar section with my plans or schedules. So tonight I finally decided to play catch up and fill in my planner. To make things fun, I brought out some of my stationery supplies and set up camp in my living room! Washi tape, colorful pens and markers were displayed on my coffee table. Next, I wrote a list of what I had done over the summer and set to work. I used the colorful pens to write in my plans and to draw cute doodles to make the planner like my own little journal. I used washi tape to place movie ticket stubs and cute photos from my trips. Then I used glittery stickers that came from a Halloween sticker pack from Walmart (for just $1) to decorate my New Orleans plans! Lately, I've been watching a lot of stationery hauls and design videos on YouTube so I was excited to try and change the book a bit. Unfortunately, there isn't much room for my own editing since the Lily Pulitzer is basically perfect the way it is. Although the brand is great, I am planning to completely create my own planner for 2017! I really enjoyed being able to add a touch of personal flair to my planner tonight and can't wait for future stationery and crafting fun! |
