This past weekend there was a hot air balloon festival held in my county. When I first heard about the event I considered not going because I wasn't sure how it would turn out. However, I decided to go and I am glad I did. Over 8,000 people attended the event. You read that right, 8 thousand! I was shocked to see that many people were there. Although it was quite crowded, I loved the festival. Right as we entered the park, a hot air balloon was already in the air! They were giving out tethered balloon rides to those who preordered, so that meant the balloons were in and out of the air throughout the afternoon. The event had plenty of food trucks, a live band, ice cream and snow cone stands, a mini market of homemade products, and a kids area full of moon bounces and a rock climbing wall. My sisters and I made it our mission to eat delicious food and to choose a great spot to snap photos of the balloons. After a couple hours of admiring the balloons, taking fun selfies, and me trying to be a pro photographer, we went and hunted for more food. We had been sitting there for a bit and decided that our blanket should be fine while we were gone. I left a lemonade cup and my sister's soda bottle sitting there with it... Unfortunately, when we came back later to retrieve it someone had taken it!! I was pretty livid. Someone near by said they saw someone pick it right up; our drinks were even scattered on the ground. Although it was upsetting that in such a trustworthy area, someone would steal something, I think that overall the day was pretty great! We had a lot of fun and took many fun photos. I hope you all enjoy viewing them!

I had a great 4th of July with my family and friends! I was the family photographer for the event and took these photos along with quite a few others! I worked in the morning into the early afternoon. After work I went to Wal-Mart with Ray and we purchased fireworks. When we got home, I changed into some red, white, & blue clothing and got decked out in my holiday gear. My mom had an amazing table display with tons of goodies to wear and to use. There were stickers, bracelets, sunglasses, headbands, pins, bubbles, glow sticks, and glow wands! It was perfect to spread cheeriness! We enjoyed a fantastic Low Country Boil that my parents made for us! It was delicious and was perfect for celebrating Independence Day. After dinner we pulled out a few baby friendly fireworks and my niece saw her first fireworks ever! She seemed unimpressed by the display. Haha Later on in the evening Ray and I made a bonfire and set off our own fireworks! We made s'mores and even vlogged for a bit! I had such a fun night and I hope that everyone else celebrating in the United States had an amazing 4th of July as well!
